Over the past 5 years, I've seen firsthand how inflammatory skin conditions can damage self-esteem. I studied cognitive behavioural therapy and body image theory so that I can better serve my clients who need mindset support specific to how their skin is affecting the way they see themselves.

I get it because I've been there. Not only do I have over five years of experience treating skin topically, I also have experienced a host of inflammatory skin conditions myself. Having struggled with low self-esteem for years, I'm able to relate to your experience and guide you in healing your body image.

HOW IT WORKS
What to expect
In your first week, we'll dive into how your brain works, why your thoughts matter and the cognitive distortions that when reinforced, lead to self-doubt, anxiety and depression. Throughout the week, you'll name your brain and identify your negative thought patterns. You'll start practicing mindfulness through meditation, intuitive journaling and intentional thoughts.
In week 2, we'll dive into your affective body image by exploring how you currently feel about your appearance. You'll learn about your emotions and how to process them most effectively. You'll also develop nervous system awareness and practice checking-in with yourself so that you can regulate your nervous system and move past negative emotions with more ease.
In week 3, we'll dive into your behavioural body image by exploring what you do as a result of your appearance. You'll have a greater understanding how you are creating your current reality. You'll redefine confidence, practice cognitive behavioural therapy and discover an embodied awareness practice infused with self-compassion.
In week 4, you'll discover what makes up your belief system. You'll learn how diet culture and the beauty industry have shaped some of your beliefs. You'll discover limiting beliefs and explore where your perception was created so that you can see the possibility for you to change what is no longer serving you. You'll also learn how to change your thoughts long-term so that you can feel better, take more productive actions and create the results you want in your life!
In week 5, you'll discover radical acceptance and practice becoming body neutral. You'll build a thought ladder with new beliefs to create the results you want in your life and make the transition with more ease. You'll discover 10 ways to practice self-confidence in your every day life.
In week 6, you will learn how to future journal. You'll be guided through a visualization meditation where you will utilize everything you've learned to see yourself in the life of your dreams. You'll create an identity script that will become a powerful tool that you can use as a grounding exercise each morning to come back to who you are and where you're headed so that you can live your life aligned and with your new found confidence!
